Alexander Lesun wins Modern Pentathlon European Championships in Minsk

Rio 2016 Olympic champion Alexander Lesun of Russia claimed gold at the 2017 Modern Pentathlon European Championships. The 29-year-old student of the Belarusian pentathlon school scored a total of 1462 points. Silver went to Robert Kasza of Hungary, four points behind Alexander Lesun. Bronze was collected by France's Valentin Belaud (1454 points).
