The program of the folk festival “Visiting the Radimichi” was rich and diverse. The guests were offered to take a journey into the distant past, to visit the homes of the Radimichi tribe of the 9th -12th centuries and an ancient temple, to see a fire lighting ritual.
One of the hypotheses says that a Radimichi tribe was based on the territory of the modern-day town of Radomlya, as evidenced by the remains of the ancient settlement and a castle. Near the Castle Hill, the venue of the folk festival, the organizers built a stylized traditional house, a place to light fire, an outdoor oven for ceramics and a pagan temple of Perun. The event was organized by the Chausy District Executive Committee.
