MINSK, 30 August (BelTA) – President of the Egyptian state-run holding company Vacsera Olfat Ghourab met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Rachkov to discuss the possibility of jointly producing medications in Belarus, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
During the meeting the sides discussed the experience of the holding company Vacsera and its enterprises in making medications, including for treating hepatitis C and oncological diseases. The possibility of starting the joint production of medications in Belarus and other promising avenues of cooperation were looked into.
The sides agreed to work on organizing a visit of the Belarusian delegation to Egypt to allow experts to get familiar with Vacsera's manufacturing capabilities and prepare a joint action plan on cooperation in making and developing the medications, which are highly prioritized in Belarus.
