Visa-free travel program

As of 12 February 2017 foreign citizens are allowed to stay in Belarus for up to five days without visas, provided they cross the border at the Minsk National Airport. The Belarus president signed decree No. 462 on 26 December 2017 to extend the visa-free travel time for foreign citizens up to ten days in several areas in Brest Oblast and Grodno Oblast as from 1 January.

The marathon will begin in Druskininkai's central square at 8:00. The finish line will be located in the Neman Stadium in Grodno. The distance between the two places is 42.195km. The runners will be able to cross the border without stopping.

The decision to extend the visa-free stay has already been made. The question is about the duration of the new visa-free program. There are proposals to include more countries into this program.

Belarusian parliament ratifies visa-free travel agreement with China

The House of Representatives ratified the agreement on 27 June. In line with the document, Belarusians will be able to stay in China visa free for up to 30 days during one trip, but not more than 90 days a year.

Hunting association chief: Visa-free program benefits hunting tourism in Belarus

In 2016 the hunting grounds that make part of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen welcomed 1,548 foreign hunters; 649 hunting tours were arranged. That brought nearly €600,000 in revenues. The upward trend remained in place throughout 2017.

Work on the extension of the visa-free stay for tourists entering Belarus through Minsk National Airport is in progress. I think the results of this work will be in by the end of the year, Vitaly Gritsevich said.
