MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) - Belarus has a very good president, Polish judge Tomasz Szmydt told a press conference in BelTA’s press center.
The Pole expressed his point of view why the West fails to strangle Belarus.
“First of all, the strength of Belarusians is in their traditions, which are preserved and protected,” Tomasz Szmydt said. “It is also something what can be called the psychological type of the nation. I have been watching you, Belarusians. I am telling you this not just to make you feel good, but to let you know how it really is. You are a very hard-working people. You are very well organized. You have a great potential. And above all, you have a very good president.”
Polish judge Tomasz Szmydt asked for protection in Belarus. Tomasz Szmydt is a judge of the 2nd Department of the Voivodeship Administrative Court of Warsaw. Previously, he held various positions in the Polish judiciary and justice system. He was the head of the legal department at the National Council of Judges of Poland. Due to disagreement with the policy and actions of the authorities, he was forced to leave Poland and is currently in Belarus. He was persecuted and threatened for his independent political position.
He declares his protest to the Polish authorities who under the influence of the USA and the UK are leading the country to war.
