MINSK, 7 February (BelTA) - President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Aleksander Čeferin positively assessed the significant contribution made by the country’s authorities to the development of football in Belarus. The UEFA head stated this during an official meeting with Chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation Yevgeny Buloichik in Ljubljana on 6 February, BelTA has learned.
The head of the Belarusian Football Federation thanked the UEFA leadership for its support of Belarusian football. Thanks to UEFA’s position, Belarusian national teams participate in international tournaments with their national symbols, and Belarusian clubs continue to play in European events.
