MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) – Belarusian rower Tatsiana Klimovich finished fifth in the women’s single sculls semifinal at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian competed in Semifinal 2 against the athletes from the USA, New Zealand, Lithuania, Germany and Austria. The top three advanced to the final. Those were reigning Olympic champion Emma Twigg of New Zealand, Viktorija Senkute of Lithuania, and Kara Kohler of the United States.
On 3 August Tatsiana Klimovich will be in action in the women’s single sculls final B to decide the 7th-12th places.
