HC Dinamo Minsk defeat HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in final home series match

MINSK, 7 October (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk wrapped up their first home series of the regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League for the 2025/26 season, BelTA has learned.

In the final match of the home series, the Minsk team hosted Traktor Chelyabinsk. Dinamo's goal was defended by Zachary Fucale, who moved to the Bison camp from the Ural club this summer. The home team opened the scoring just 65 seconds after the opening face-off, with Daniil Sotishvili finding the net. The visiting team equalized five minutes later, with former Minsk player Jordan Gross registering an assist point.


At the start of the second period, Dinamo took the lead again, with Vitali Pinchuk scoring a precise shot. Closer to the middle of the period, the Minsk team extended the advantage with Michael Dal Colle scoring his first goal for the Minsk club. A minute later, the home team earned a power play opportunity, which Vitali Pinchuk converted it – 4-1.
The score remained unchanged in the final period. Thus, the Bisons have won five out of six matches at Minsk Arena. Dinamo Minsk now ranks third in the Western Conference with 16 points. The match against Traktor also marked a significant milestone as Dinamo’s head coach Dmitri Kvartalnov secured his 600th career victory in the KHL, setting the KHL record.





Next, the Minsk team will head to St. Petersburg where they will play two matches against HC Shanghai Dragons on 9 and 11 October. The Bisons will be back on home ice on 14 October.
