HC Dinamo Minsk claim comeback victory over HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl

MINSK, 13 February (BelTA) – HC Dinamo Minsk have extended their winning streak in the 2025/26 Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular season, BelTA has learned.

On 12 February, the Minsk Bisons hosted the conference leaders and reigning KHL champions from Yaroslavl. The guests dominated the opening frame and took the lead at 11 minutes. Halfway through the game, HC Dinamo Minsk forward Alex Limoges put the puck in the net, but the American’s goal was called back for an infraction. Only 90 seconds later, the hosts finally drew level – Vadim Moroz with a precise strike to make it 1-1.
Early in the final frame, the Minsk Bisons found themselves four against five for the first time in the match, and the visitors seized their opportunity. The visitors’ lead didn’t last long. Midway through the third, the hosts not only equalized but grabbed the advantage. First, Limoges finally got his goal, this time legal, and then Darren Dietz struck on the power play. Just before the final horn, KHL leading scorer Sam Anas capped it off: 4-2 for HC Dinamo Minsk.
Thus, Dmitri Kvartalnov’s team secured their third consecutive victory and snapped Lokomotiv’s seven-game winning streak. In the Western Conference standings, the Minsk side sits second, four points behind the Yaroslavl club. The Minsk Bisons’ next outing is an away fixture against HC Spartak Moscow on 15 February.
