MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian national U16 field hockey teams will take part in the second division matches of the EuroHockey Championship, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Field Hockey Association.
The tournaments featuring the Belarusian men’s and women’s U16 squads will be hosted by Kutaisi, Georgia, on 1-4 July. These international competitions, held under the auspices of the European Hockey Federation (EuroHockey), will mark the first appearances for Belarusian teams in four years.
Earlier in 2026, Belarusian U18 teams were permitted to compete on the international stage using national symbols. Additionally, the Belarusian Field Hockey Association is authorized to host official international tournaments in the country for these age categories.
