                    MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes won a gold medal in one of the events at the World Championships in Fire and Rescue Sport in Saudi Arabia on 29 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
                
                
            The Belarusian men’s fire and rescue sport team clinched gold in the 100-meter obstacle course. Thanks to this win, the Belarusians have taken the lead in the world championship’s overall standings. The Belarusian women’s team finished second in the same discipline. Currently, the Belarusian women are also second in the team rankings.
 
 
 
The XX World Championship among men and XI World Championship among women in fire and rescue sport are running in Saudi Arabia from 28 to 31 October. On 30 October, the athletes will compete in the 4х100m team fire relay race.
