Belarus secure four medals at Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics

MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – Belarusian athletes claimed four medals on the fifth day of the 25th Summer Deaflympics in Japan, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Sport and Tourism told BelTA.

On 19 November, Aliaksandr Maistrenka won silver in the triple jump with a result of 14.75m, while Raman Hralko took bronze with 14.71 m. In the women’s triple jump, Dziyana Barsukova finished third with a result of 12.34m. Aliaksandr Charniak clinched bronze in the 1500m race.

The Deaflympics are the largest international sports competition for athletes with hearing impairments. Belarus is represented by 24 athletes in three sports: athletics, swimming and wrestling. The games have brought together about 3,000 participants from more than 70 countries.
