Belarus’ Harnasko wins all-around at Sky Grace Cup in Beijing

MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – Alina Harnasko of Belarus claimed the all-around gold at the Sky Grace Cup international rhythmic gymnastics tournament in Beijing, China, BelTA has learned.

Approximately fifty gymnasts from 23 countries participated in the most prestigious discipline of the senior event. Alina Harnasko clinched the gold with 123.8 points, edging out Russian silver medalist Maria Borisova by nearly a point. Russian gymnast Eva Kononova joined them on the podium with 119.75 points. The top ten also included two more Belarusians: Nikol Leuta in seventh place and Darya Grokhotova in tenth.

Earlier at the Sky Grace Cup, Belarusian athletes had won six medals each in the junior and pre-junior categories, with podium finishes earned by Kira Babkevich, Margarita Zhurovich, Kseniya Bandarenka, Ksenia Yevdokimova, and Vera Konopatskaya. The program for 14 November at the Beijing tournament comprises the finals in individual disciplines for seniors, alongside the medal events in group exercises.
