VITEBSK, 29 November (BelTA) – The Marathon of Unity project called "We Are Doing One Thing!" traveled to the Vitebsk Fur Factory, BelTA has learned.
The Vitebsk Fur Factory is a part of Belarusian Leather and Footwear Company Marko Holding company. Taking part in the project were the heads of other enterprises of the holding company. Director General of the holding Nikolai Martynov also took part in the event.
"The factory will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year. 11 years ago we joined Marco Holding Company. This marked a new chapter in our development. We have undergone a major upgrade program and started manufacturing new products," Director of Vitebsk Fur Factory Yelena Chebotareva pointed out. She also noted that joint projects with other enterprises of the holding companies help Vitebsk Fur Factory to grow and develop.
During the event, factory workers were able to ask the top leaders any questions. The employees were interested in the prospects of their enterprises, the development of the manufacturing process and new types of products and many other matters related to work of the enterprises.
"We jointly develop our seasonal collections. Our technologists team up and design new footwear. Next year we are going to assimilate new finishing technologies. In order to achieve the goals we have in mind, we need to interact directly, eye-to-eye. Such work yields results. It is much more effective than discussing something by phone," Nikolai Martynov said.
