There are two factories in Belarus that produce canned milk – one in Glubokoye and the other one in Rogachev. A serious debate has been going on for decades: which condensed milk is better? We will not dare answer this question, but we can explain the difference between them.
“The difference is in the technological process. The factory in Glubokoye uses cyclic condensation method, while at the Rogachev Milk Canning Plant this process is continuous. It was introduced by the former director general Boris Reva. During his tenure, he put a lot of effort into introducing a continuous evaporation method.”
The boiled condensed milk was named Yegorka after the grandson of Boris Reva as a tribute to the director's work and legacy.
