GRODNO, 30 November (BelTA) – A stationary clinic has opened in the temporary accommodation facility for refugees set up at the logistics hub near the Belarus-Poland border, BelTA has learned.
Emergency medical professionals are on duty there to help refugees. The clinic will work around the clock. It has the necessary equipment to provide emergency medical aid, including a cardiograph.
The clinic has an ICU team that includes a doctor and two paramedics, as well as a paramedic team consisting of two paramedics. If necessary, a pediatric team comprised of a doctor and a paramedic will be sent to the shelter.
Every day, 100-200 refugees apply for medical help to the doctors working in the shelter. Before that, they were examined by ambulance teams in ambulances on duty near the logistics hub, but due to the frosty weather, from now on patients will be received in a special room.
