MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) – Military hardware from Russia keeps coming to Belarus in order to participate in a military parade, which will be held on 3 July on the occasion of Belarus’ Independence Day, the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

According to the source, the latest trainload includes Msta-B howitzers, mortar systems 2S12 Sani, and other kinds of hardware.

Deputy Chief of Armament of Belarus’ Armed Forces Sergei Tomchik remarked that it was not the first Russian army unit to arrive in Belarus. “T-34 tanks have arrived in Belarus previously. They are already taking an active part in parade rehearsals and demonstrate good results,” he stressed.
