MINSK, 26 August (BelTA) – Representatives of Belarusian and Russian technical support and rear support army units practiced rebuilding transport infrastructure after an enemy air strike during a joint army exercise, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.
The exercise took place in the training center Lesishche of the 30th Independent Railway Brigade.
According to the scenario of the exercise, the enemy destroyed bridges and train tracks. Personnel of transport troops worked together with specialists of Belarusian Railways to restore the tracks.
Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus, Major-General Viktor Gulevich observed the exercise.
