MOSCOW, 12 December (BelTA) - Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin visited Belarus’ pavilion at the VDNKh expo center as part of his working visit to Moscow on 12 December, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian head of government was interested in how the Belarusian president’s directive regarding the development of the pavilion at Russia’s main exhibition center was being implemented. Aleksandr Turchin reviewed the range of Belarusian products on display, shared his perspective on the plans to modernize the pavilion, and spoke with the staff at the sales points. He received explanations from Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Mikhail Myatlikov.
By the end of 2026, Russia’s main congress and exhibition venue is set to appear on the grounds of VDNKh, where major commercial exhibitions and business events are planned to take place, Mikhail Myatlikov told the media. “With this in mind, we discussed with the prime minister the development of the Belarusian exhibition at VDNKh,” he said. Mikhail Myatlikov said that plans are in place to modernize the Belarusian pavilion.
The head of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry added that the Republic of Belarus pavilion at VDNKh is an architectural landmark. “Therefore, conceptually, various options will be considered for combining exhibition and retail spaces, including updating clothing collections, offering food tastings with information on where and in which retail chains this product can be purchased today,” the head of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasized.
Mikhail Myatlikov stated that the Belarusian pavilion and the goods presented here are very popular. “The figures speak for themselves: in January-November 2025, the Belarusian pavilion was visited by 1.2 million people,” he said.
