MINSK, 6 July (BelTA) – More than 100,000 Europeans have visited Belarus since it reopened border for visa waiver arrivals from Lithuania and Latvia on 15 April 2022, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
The committee recalled that on 1 July Belarus waived visas for Polish citizens who arrive in Belarus through the Belarusian-Polish border. More than 150 Polish citizens visited Belarus over five days.
Belarus reopened border for visa waiver arrivals from Lithuania and Latvia on 15 April 2022. Since then 68,700 citizens of Lithuania, 26,300 citizens and 8,600 aliens of Latvia visited Belarus.
All in all, over 103,000 foreign citizens took advantage of the opportunity to visit Belarus without a visa.
