MINSK, 24 August (BelTA) – The Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) and the China Development Institute have concluded an agreement on scientific cooperation, BelTA learned from the website of the NASB.
The Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was visited by a delegation from the China Development Instittue and the SZAO Industrial Park Development Company. The goal of the visit was to discuss cooperation prospects. The Chinese side was represented by Chief Executive Officer of SZAO Industrial Park Development Company Hu Zheng and Vice President of the China Development Institute Wu Liangcheng. An agreement was signed to develop scientific cooperation between the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the China Development Institute.
China Development Institute (CDI), a think tank based in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, was founded in 1989 with the approval of the State Council to promote China's reform and opening-up, and to expand international academic exchange and cooperation. China Development Institute also provides consulting services to Chinese and foreign economic entities. In December 2015 the CDI was accredited as one of the top 25 think tanks of China and invited to participate in the pilot project of the Chinese central government with a view to promoting the emergence of new-type analytical centers with Chinese features.
