MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) - Only together can the CSTO countries cope with current challenges, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces - First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko told reporters, BelTA has learned.

According to the chief of the general staff, it is possible to confront modern risks, challenges and threats only together. The presence of allies and friendly partner countries is as important a factor in ensuring national security in the military sector as the availability of weapons, resources and production facilities. “In today's world, strength is the only one which is respected. Together we are able to influence the development of the situation in our regions,” Pavel Muraveiko said.
