MINSK, 12 September (BelTA) – The final of the 14th National Beauty Contest Miss Belarus has kicked off at the Palace of Sports in Minsk, BelTA has learned.
Twenty-four of the country's beauties have reached the final: two from Brest Oblast and Vitebsk Oblast each, three from Gomel Oblast and Grodno Oblast each, five from Minsk Oblast, one from Mogilev Oblast, and eight beauties from Minsk.

The contestants have a month of rehearsals behind them. The girls also attended charity events and excursions, took part in a volunteer work action at the construction site of the National History Museum of Belarus, visited a shelter for stray animals, and helped prepare a secondary school for the new academic year and set up a recreation area.
Tonight, the audience of the final show will take on a journey through the Universe of Beauty. The main idea of the show is connected to beauty as an inspiring force for achievements, feats, and creative victories. On stage, the participants will present their introductory videos, impress with appearances in national costumes, swimsuits, evening gowns, and a special creative walk. The show will be decorated with musical performances by both famous and up-and-coming young Belarusian singers.
The Miss Belarus title winner will receive a cash prize and will wear a precious crown made of white gold with natural topazes and natural diamonds. When creating it, the artists were inspired by one of the most recognizable Belarusian symbols - the cornflower - so the crown resembles the flower's unopened buds amidst the sparkle of gemstones.
The First Vice-Miss Belarus, Second Vice-Miss Belarus, Miss Top-Model, Miss Photo, and Miss Audience Choice will also be named. The contestants will choose the Miss Friendship title winner themselves. Belarusians will find out who gets the coveted crown tonight.
