MINSK, 29 February (BelTA) – The crime rate in Belarus is declining, Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov told reporters, BelTA has learned.
“As for the clearance rate and the overall crime rate in 2023, we see a decline in crime rate: the number of homicides and serious bodily injuries decreased,” said Ivan Kubrakov.
“All murders, serious bodily injuries and crimes that resulted in death were solved in 2023. Suspects were detained and investigations are underway. The number of robberies and rapes also dropped,” the minister added.
