MINSK, 14 December (BelTA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus is closely monitoring the situation concerning Belarusian citizens injured in a road accident in Poland, BelTA learned from the ministry.
“The Belarusian side keeps in touch with the relevant authorities of the Republic of Poland and keeps tabs on the situation. The Consulate in Biała Podlaska is taking all necessary measures to assist our citizens,” the ministry informed.
According to available reports, the accident took place in the Polish city of Rzeszów and involved a tour bus carrying 48 Belarusian citizens to Hungary.
There were no fatalities. Fourteen Belarusian citizens sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were hospitalized, and are receiving the necessary medical care across five healthcare facilities in Rzeszów.
