MINSK, 1 December (BelTA) - The Latvian government intends to extend the enhanced border regime on the border with Belarus for another six months, until 30 June 2026, Latvian media report, citing a draft order submitted to the Legislative Portal.
Currently, the enhanced security regime on the Latvian-Belarusian border is in effect until 31 December 2025. It has been established in Ludza and Ludza Municipality, Kraslava Municipality, Augsdaugava Municipality, Daugavpils, and Kaunata of Rēzekne Municipality.
