MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) – The long-awaited International Exhibition Center will open in Minsk on 28 December at 13:00, Viktoria Agafonova, Deputy Director for Exhibition Activities of the BelExpo National Exhibition Center, told BelTA.
The My Belarus exhibition celebrating Belarus' achievements will be the first event hosted by the International Exhibition Center. “The exhibition is ready to receive visitors. It just needs some final touches. All participants are ready to present the achievements of sovereign Belarus over the period of 30 years. There will be interesting locations with activities and photo zones,” Viktoria Agafonova remarked.
The construction of the International Exhibition Center began in 2022. The total area of the complex is 37,000m2. There are two large halls with an area of 6,000m2 and 8,600m2 and a 14m high ceiling, which allows for both small presentations and large-scale events. Convenient access from the inner side of the Minsk Ring Road is already available; the construction of an interchange on the outer ring will be completed next year. In addition, 2,200 parking spaces are available. It is planned to arrange transport links with the city, which is especially important during major events.
The My Belarus exposition will occupy an area of more than 30,000m2 in the pavilion and on the street, a food court, a cultural events area, as well as various venues under the general name “My Belarus is a place of power”. Visitors to the exhibition will learn about many interesting projects related to the country's achievements.
The exhibition will be running for several weeks. Visitors will be able to use shuttle buses departing from several metro stations. Information about the exhibition and cultural events will be published on the official website and in the exhibition's Telegram channel.
