MINSK, 30 November (BelTA) – Events like the 2nd international forum Efficient Environment help find new solutions, talents, and names. Belarusian Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister Aleksandr Balashenko made the relevant statement during the forum held in Minsk on 29 November, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Balashenko said: “The forum is a bright event that underscores the significance and the role of architecture in creating a favorable environment in the Year of Improvement. Such initiatives allow bringing skilled architects, developers to such venues and discussing the key issues the industry is worried about in addition to finding new solutions, talents, and names.”
Yuri Chanturiya, Dean of the Architecture Department of Belarusian State Technical University, remarked that the forum’s topics are important and interesting. “The realization of our proposals that we see around us indicates that we don’t meet here by accident. We need to exchange ideas, learn what ideas are contained in our proposals, direct our work towards improving the architecture of our country and our cities,” he said. “The areas covered by the forum are unusually topical. I hope that this meeting will be beneficial for all of us and will contribute to the development of aesthetic qualities of our art of building.”
This year’s forum brought together experts in the field of architecture and urban planning from Belarus and other countries. Vision was the forum’s theme. An extensive and varied program was prepared for the forum participants. They learned about current trends and efficient solutions for urban development based on the speakers’ personal expertise and the projects they had implemented. In addition to presentations, lectures, case studies, and master classes two key panel sessions were held on the topics of “Methods for preventing visual noise in the urban environment” and “An efficient urban environment as a conscious human need.”
