Foreigners to no longer have to present PCR test results, vaccination certificates to enter Belarus

MINSK, 27 May (BelTA) – Foreign citizens will no longer be required to present PCR test results and COVID-19 vaccination certificates in order to enter Belarus as from 00:00 on 28 May. The emergency operations center under the Council of Ministers has decided in favor of scrapping these requirements, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian government's press service noted that the prime minister will sign the relevant Council of Ministers resolution soon.

BelTA reported earlier that on 27 May Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko gave instructions to remove barriers for residents of Lithuania and Latvia willing to enter Belarus. The matter was discussed among other things during a brief conference the head of state held with representatives of the central government and the Belarus President Administration to discuss matters of current interest.
