MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) – The rise of the so-called political dwarfs to power in European countries was deliberately prepared long time ago, historian Evgeny Spitsyn said in the latest episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA's YouTube channel.
"Indeed, we have become closer to World War Three. This is already recognized by many people, not only experts but also politicians. Some of them realize the threat this poses to the planet, while others are living in la la land. They think that we will be able to overcome this, because there is nothing terrible in the use of nuclear weapons. They are deliberately stirring up tension," Evgeny Spitsyn noted.
According to him, this is primarily due to the fact that people currently in power in Europe are political dwarfs. "It is no accident that today almost all European countries have these political nobodies in power, first of all major ones (I mean the UK, Germany, France, Italy). It was consciously prepared long time ago,” he said.
Evgeny Spitsyn mentioned the nomadic elite concept coined by Jacques Attali, a former political adviser to Mitterrand. "He said that there will be neither national elites nor nation states in the globalized world. There will be a world government, world institutions. This world government needs nomadic elite. Hence we have the Bologna Process, standardization of the education systems, its dumbness", the historian concluded.
