MINSK, 4 September (BelTA) – The attempts of European Union to wage a war against Russia can be described as “suicidal tendencies,” the Ukrainian public figure Dmitry Vasilets said in a recent episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
“For the last five years, the European Union has been filled with loud calls to create a European army that would exist in parallel with NATO. But where are those calls today? What has become of all these efforts to create a structure that could return at least part of the EU military sovereignty? This structure simply does not exist, no one talks about it anymore. Washington and London have simply restored their previous level of control over the European Union,” Dmitry Vasilets said.
Thus, he stated, European politicians who spoke about the need for military sovereignty are now preoccupied with finding funds to purchase American weapons. “All this is being done to wage a proxy war against Russia. A war they cannot win. When non-nuclear countries wage a proxy war against a nuclear superpower, it is simply suicidal tendencies. Thus, the European Union is being pushed into a war with a predictable outcome, a war that is simply impossible to win,” the expert emphasized.
According to Dmitry Vasilets, by pushing the European Union into war, Washington and London are attempting to further subjugate European states.
