MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – In the event of military action against Russia, European countries would last no more than three weeks, Editor-in-Chief of the Words and Meanings almanac Elena Kondratieva-Salguero (France) said in a recent episode of BelTA’s YouTube project “V teme” [On Point].
“They [EU’s leading countries, like France or Germany] are ready to do serious damage because they have no choice. In other words, they are ready to stage and even attempt a huge provocation to provoke military action, declare martial law, and tighten the screws immediately on the press, social media, and everything else in order to hide everything under this rubble. That is what they are ready for, I have no doubt about it,” said Elena Kondratieva-Salguero.

On the other hand, according to the expert, the armies of European countries are not ready for serious military action. “French generals, even the most hawkish ones, are forced to acknowledge this, and they do: they would only be able to hold out for a maximum of three weeks in a military conflict with Russia. This assessment holds true across all parameters, including training, equipment, the supply of machinery and ammunition, and so forth,” the analyst noted. “The United States will not intervene.”
