Delegations of five armies to attend 75th anniversary of Belarus' liberation

MINSK, 1 July (BelTA) – Delegations of the armed forces of five countries will participate in festivities timed to the 75th anniversary of Belarus' liberation from the Nazi invaders and Independence Day, representatives of the Belarusian Defense Ministry told BelTA.

The Azerbaijan delegation will be led by the defense minister, the delegation of Kazakhstan by the head of the Personnel and Military Education Department of the Kazakh Defense Ministry, the delegation of China by the deputy commander of the Beijing Military Garrison of the People's Liberation Army of China. The Russian delegation will be led by the chief of the Western Military District, the Uzbek one by the first deputy defense minister, chief of the general staff.

The heads of the foreign delegations will participate in a solemn assembly. They will attend a festive concert and will lay flowers at the Victory Monument. They will also watch an army parade, the theatrical performance Heroic Belarus, and the campaign Let's Sing the Anthem Together.
