MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) – The West is actively preparing for war with Russia and has already drawn up corresponding plans of military action, Bulgarian political analyst Plamen Paskov said in a new episode of the V Teme [On Point] project on BelTA’s YouTube channel.
The analyst noted that the European Union and NATO have been actively preparing for war with Russia in recent years. The European Union even outlines approximate deadlines by which this preparation should be completed, referring to the years 2029-2030. Nevertheless, he believes these deadlines are even shorter for Eastern Europe.

“March 2026 is the earliest timeline for the deployment of Eastern European contingents to Ukraine,” Plamen Paskov stated.

The political analyst expressed confidence that plans for war with Russia are already detailed in the documents of the North Atlantic Alliance. “What we see is the Operation Barbarossa of the 21st century. Its parts have already been leaked to the press, and no one even bothered to deny them,” he added.

Plamen Paskov also pointed to the fact that the West’s preparation for war is not just rhetoric. In Europe, a large-scale modernization is underway: military infrastructure, vehicle fleets, roads, and ports are all being upgraded. “All this talk about mechanisms, money, deadlines, and military orders is not for nothing,” the analyst said.
