MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – The Minsk-based consulting and advertising company Mingorspravka is working to develop the branded guest card for the International Festival of Arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, Director of Mingorspravka Boris Vasiliev said at a meeting of the working group for Minsk landscaping, BelTA has learned.
“We are launching five types of the cards. Four of them operate in Minsk and Minsk Oblast and one across the country. Each format has its expiry time varieties and discounts,” Boris Vasiliev said. “Now we are working with the Slavianski Bazaar directorate in Vitebsk to launch the branded guest card. It will be sold with the tickets. The website “To Grodno Without A Visa” provides the information about the guest card to people visiting this visa free zone in Belarus,” Boris Vasiliev added.
A representative office of the Guest Card center opened in Vitebsk near the city hall in summer in 2019 (there are such offices in every regional center today). Tourists and the residents of Belarus can buy a guest card there. Its holders will get various bonuses and discounted admission to museums and galleries in Vitebsk and district centers of Vitebsk Oblast and discounted accommodation at farm estates.
According to Boris Vasiliev, the project features over 1,000 tourist sites across the country including 200 museums.
“The Guest Card. Cities and Regions of Belarus” tourism project is run by Mingorspravka with support of the Sport and Tourism Ministry, Culture Ministry, Minsk City Hall, Minsk Oblast Executive Committee and the Minsk Information and Tourist Center in line with the state tourism promotion program Hospitable Belarus for 2016-2020. The card offers bonuses and discounts at museums, galleries, zoos, water parks, hotels, restaurants, cafes, shopping facilities, and car and bicycle rental centers.
