Belarusian recreation center to welcome over 90 school students from China in July

MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) – As many as 91 school students from China will stay in the Belarusian national children education and recreation center Zubrenok on 12-21 July, BelTA has learned.

The kids will be offered medical recreation procedures in accordance with medical conditions and doctor's orders. Apart from that, they will be able to enjoy access to swimming pools, sauna, sport grounds, recreational hiking, and health-tempering procedures.

In addition to recreation the school students will be offered various contests and entertainment activities. They will be able to take part in hobby groups, will make Belarusian souvenirs with their own hands during workshops, and will introduce their peers from Belarus to China's decorative and applied arts and culture.

The Chinese kids will also be able to learn more about Belarus. They will visit Mir Castle and Nesvizh Castle, the National Library of Belarus in Minsk, will participate in cultural and educational programs in the ancient Belarusian household culture center Khutor Nesluch, which is located at Zubrenok's premises. They will also be able to visit universities where they will be made familiar with the Belarusian education system.

The recreational trip to Zubrenok has been organized in line with the relevant Belarus-China intergovernmental agreement. The first children from China arrived in Zubrenok in August 2015 upon the invitation of the Belarusian head of state. Since then recreational trips for Chinese kids to Zubrenok have become a tradition.
