MINSK, 30 December (BelTA) – The Embassy of Belarus in Moldova, together with the Belarusian Cultural Center in Moldova, organized a New Year’s performance for the children of members of Belarusian organizations in Moldova on 29 December, BelTA has learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Moldova.
The celebration traditionally took place at the Belarusian embassy in Chisinau. The festive program included congratulations from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Moldova Anatoly Buben. Guests enjoyed a stage performance, took part in quizzes, and competed in contests.
For the occasion, the children prepared special performances and festive poetry readings. In recognition of their talents, the young performers were awarded keepsake prizes from the embassy, while every child at the party went home with a sweet holiday treat courtesy of the Belarusian confectionery company Kommunarka.
The day before, on 28 December, children of Belarusian public organizations in Transnistria also received gifts from the Embassy of Belarus in Moldova. A New Year’s performance for them was organized by the Tiraspol public organization “Society of Belarusian culture” and the Belarusian Cultural Center in the Republic of Moldova.
