MINSK, 24 March (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan Aleksei Bogdanov took part in the festive celebration of Nowruz, BelTA learned from the Belarusian foreign mission in Astana.
The event was organized by the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Astana. It brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, government bodies, public organizations, and cultural communities.
During the celebration, guests were introduced to traditional rituals, enjoyed concert performances, folk games, and national dishes. The participation of the head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission highlighted the friendly and partnership relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan, as well as the attention paid to the cultural traditions and values of the Kazakh people.
Nowruz is an international holiday that marks the arrival of spring.
