Belarus-Russia Union State MPs to discuss humanitarian cooperation in Minsk

MOSCOW, 7 October (BelTA) – A session of the permanent seminar at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will be held in Minsk on 24-25 October. The session will focus on important matters of Belarus-Russia cooperation in social affairs and culture, BelTA learned from the press service of the Parliamentary Assembly.

“Participants of the session will discuss priority areas of humanitarian cooperation, ways to improve the common educational and cultural space of the Union State, and experience in promoting patriotism among the youth,” the press service noted.

Taking part in the session will be members of the Parliamentary Assembly, representatives of the Union State Standing Committee, culture ministries, educational institutions and academia of Belarus and Russia. “Participants of the session will adopt practical recommendations which will then be sent to ministries and government agencies of the two countries as well as other stakeholders,” the press service added.
