Belarus prime minister gets familiar with cutting-edge ICT products at TIBO 2019

MINSK, 11 April (BelTA) – Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Rumas was made familiar with the latest information and communications technology products as he visited the international expo TIBO 2019, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian head of government visited the stands of the national telecommunication giant Beltelecom, the Communications and Informatization Ministry, the mobile carrier MTS, the cloud infrastructure operator beCloud, the industrial automation solutions vendor Simatek Group as well as other stands. Sergei Rumas was shown innovative products in the sphere of information technologies of Belarusian government agencies and IT companies as well as possible applications of these products.

The 26th international forum on information and communications technologies TIBO is taking place in Minsk Arena on 8-12 April. The forum has been organized by the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry and ZAO Technics and Communications.

TIBO is now a unique venue for sharing cutting-edge international experience, for discussing state policy in the sphere of information, for generating innovative knowledge, for discussing ways to embrace the latest technological trends in various spheres of economy, private sector, and life of the modern society.

TIBO 2019's vast exposition showcases major Belarusian and foreign manufacturers of telecommunication equipment, hardware and software, mobile carriers, Internet service providers from Belarus and abroad, developers and vendors of high-tech products, security systems, smart solutions and services for the mass market and the corporate market.

Over 100 companies from 16 countries are taking part in the TIBO 2019 expo.
