MINSK, 3 January (BelTA) – Belarus' main Christmas tree in Oktyabrskaya Square in Minsk is one of the five highest trees in the CIS this winter, according to the Christmas trees rating compiled by the TurStat analytical agency, BelTA has learned.
The 35-meter green beauty in Minsk made it to the list of the five highest Christmas trees in the CIS countries. It is as high as Uzbekistan's main tree in Mustakillik Avenue in Tashkent.
The 38-meter Christmas tree in the square in front of the Alem Cultural and Entertainment Center in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan tops the rating. It is followed by the two 37-meter high trees in Azadliq Square in Baku, Azerbaijan and in Republic Square in Yerevan, Armenia.
