MINSK, 9 February (BelTA) – As many as 11,139 foreign citizens from 38 countries on the visa-free travel program list have arrived in Belarus since 1 January 2026. Most of the travelers came from neighboring Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee of Belarus.
A total of 1,270,850 residents of Europe have visited Belarus since 15 April 2022 when the visa waiver program was launched. As many as 408,603 people came from Latvia, 666,745from Lithuania, and 135,354 from Poland. As many as 60,118 people have entered Belarus within the framework of the expanded visa waiver since 19 January 2024.
The head of state has decided in favor of extending the visa-free travel program for citizens of 38 European countries through 31 December 2026.
