MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – A joint staff training exercise of the Armed Forces is being conducted under the leadership of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces – First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko on 13-16 January, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Defense Ministry.
The purpose of the training is to develop the optimal procedure for employing troop groupings (forces), other military units, formations, and militarized organizations in one of the possible scenarios of an escalation directly related to threats to Belarus’ military security.
“The training is an important part of the academic year and provides a solid foundation for further preparation in the Armed Forces,” the ministry emphasized.
