MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) – Belarusian Alisa Manenok placed fourth at the Miss Earth 2019 international beauty pageant, BelTA learned from the Twitter account of the event.
Puerto Rico's Nellys Pimentel was crowned Miss Earth 2019. The second place and the Miss Air 2019 title went to Emanii Davis from the US. Klara Vavruskova from the Czech Republic won the Miss Water title and the third place. The Belarusian contestant was awarded the Miss Fire title.
The final of the 19th edition of the international beauty pageant took place in Manila, Philippines and brought together representatives of 85 countries. The Miss Earth pageant is held under the UN auspices and is meant to draw attention to humanitarian issues, environmental protection, and wildlife protection.
