MINSK, 20 May (BelTA) – In January-April 2024, companies of all forms of ownership built 10,500 apartments. A total of 1,022,800 square meters of the total area of housing were commissioned, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee.
Belarus commissioned some 333,500 square meters of housing for people registered as in need of improving their living conditions, which was 32.6% of the total housing commissioned. Some 207,500 square meters of such housing were subsidized by the government.
As for rural communities, 383,700 square meters of housing were delivered there, or 37.5% of new homes commissioned in the country.
