MINSK, 15 July (BelTA) – Head of the International Military Cooperation Department, Aide for International Military Cooperation to the Belarusian Defense Minister, Colonel Valery Revenko met with representatives of the defense attaché office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Belarus on 15 July. The meeting was arranged in view of the end of the current attaché's stay in Belarus and the accreditation of a new one, BelTA has learned.
During the meeting Valery Revenko summed up what Belarus and China had managed to achieve in military cooperation with the current attaché Senior Colonel Li Yong in office. Valery Revenko thanked Li Yong for his contribution to the advancement of Belarus-China interaction. Apart from that, Valery Revenko expressed confidence that Li Yong's successor – Senior Colonel Liu Zhe – will continue actively assisting with the enhancement of friendly ties between the Belarusian and Chinese defense ministries.
