MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Belarusian Emergencies Minister Vadim Sinyavsky is participating in the World Crisis and Emergency Management Summit 2025 held in Abu Dhabi, the press service of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry told BelTA.

At the opening ceremony UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan delivered a welcoming speech. He emphasized the growing role of the summit as a platform for like-minded individuals in enhancing the international community’s resilience to crises.

“The Belarusian delegation has a lot to present and discuss with international colleagues, particularly in population protection and emergency response. We are also interested in studying international experience that could contribute to the development of our national security systems,” Vadim Sinyavsky stated.

Speakers at the event include leaders of emergency and rescue agencies of Azerbaijan, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Italy, Russia and South Africa, along with representatives of United Nations agencies.

The summit is featuring an exhibition to showcase achievements of the UAE and other international partners in the production of specialized equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles. The Belarusian delegation explored the innovations on display.

“We are interested in the cutting-edge technologies presented at the exhibition. These technologies are being studied for potential future use in equipping our Emergencies Ministry units with the most advanced rescue tools,” the minister emphasized.

Vadim Sinyavsky is set to deliver a speech at the summit on 9 April.
