MINSK, 3 October (BelTA) – Belarus’ Prosecutor General Andrei Shved met with Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan of Armenia during his visit to Yerevan, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Prosecutor General Office.
"The parties discussed the provision of mutual legal assistance in criminal cases and the extradition of persons suspected or convicted of committing a crime. The parties also exchanged experience in organizing prosecutorial supervision in certain areas for the benefit of protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens," the Prosecutor General's Office noted.
Yerevan will host the 34th meeting of the CIS Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General on 4 October.
