MINSK, 23 November (BelTA) – The Belarusian Investigative Committee and the American Express Company intend to develop cooperation in the fight against cyber crime, BelTA learned from the website of the committee.
The Central Office of the Investigative Committee hosted a working meeting with Igor Fedulov, Security Director for Eastern and Central Europe at American Express.
According to the committee, Igor Fedulov has repeatedly helped the Investigative Committee by providing the necessary data to the Cyber and Intellectual Property Crimes Department of the Investigative Committee's Central Office.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged information on several criminal cases and discussed the prospects for further interaction.
On the instruction of Chairman of the Investigative Committee Ivan Noskevich, Igor Fedulov was commended for effective assistance to the Investigative Committee and his contribution to the successful investigation of cyber crimes by the Central Criminal Investigation Department.
