MOSCOW, 16 December (BelTA) – Deep space exploration may become an ambitious project of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik said during the conference “Union State: Integration, development, trust” held in Moscow and dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Union State Foundation Treaty, BelTA has learned.
"We need to pay special attention to the R&D strategy of the Union State and to develop the integrated research infrastructure. We have already started to jointly explore space. Developing technologies to explore space, including deep space, to build new satellites and new constellations may become the next ambitious project in this area," the ambassador noted.
